"Nicole competed with her new HEART BATON today, and she did fantastic! It really is a better baton. Even her dad commented on how it was. Thank you so much for the HEART BATON. I cannot wait for the team to start using them. Thanks again for inventing the best baton I have twirled with!" - Amanda, Illinois
"I received my Heart Baton on Friday and I absolutely love it! The sweat/slip middle is very unique and much needed. Its light weight keeps me from bruising my fingers when catching high tosses!" - Carrolyn Talley, Georgia
"I am happy to say that twirling with the HEART BATON has been a success. I'm loving them! I am so excited and cannot wait until I get the chance to use them as I twirl my way into the hearts of many at the Island University, Texas A & M University - Corpus Christi. Thank you so much for creating them, they are AWESOME!" - Jennifer Kotzur, Texas A & M - Corpus Christi "Island Girl"
"My daughter was so delighted with her new HEART BATON. She loves the fact that it doesn't slip in her hands and she says that she finds her rolls a lot easier with it. - Lisa Frazer, United Kingdom
"Thank you so much for this Heart Baton. I am one of those that has 1 of every baton, but I can never see me using any other baton again. I am now wanting to get some money together to buy at least another 13 for my troupe. I would love to give them the chance to twirl these Heart Batons when they are in competition." - Charlotte, C.I.F.A. Majorettes
Dear Susan - I had been considering purchasing the HEART BATON for my 6-year-old daughter ever since reading about them in the Twirl Zone e-mail newsletter. Her current batons still fit her size, but I knew I wanted her next set of batons to be HEART BATONS due to their their limited rolling feature. Yesterday, for the 4th of July, my daughter competed in a local talent show where 1st place wins the honor to perform at the state fair. She set up her batons (2 regular batons and a hoop) and posed while the MC introduced her. While the MC was walking to the microphone he apparently didn't see her baton and unknowingly kicked it and it rolled out of her sight under the on-stage speaker (he recalls stumbling on something, but didn't consider it important enough to check on it). The music started and my daughter began her routine as usual thinking her baton would be where she had placed it. Although I was so proud of her for continuing to smile and going on with her entire routine without a baton and performing her 2-baton section with only 1 baton, it was agonizing for me to watch. Immediately after her performance, I explained to the coordinator of the talent show what had happened. Her response, "Its ok. The judges know she was supposed to have a baton and will take that into considerations." ???? I felt like yelling and wanted to demand she be allowed to perform again, but knew that would not be in good taste nor a good example for my daughter. I woke up this morning and decided if I could prevent that situation from happening again, I would. I believe that if she would have had the HEART BATONS yesterday, the MC may have moved them out of place, but they would not have rolled totally out of my daughter's line of vision. I know this may have been a fluke and the chances of it happening again are slim, but it was heartbreaking watching her perform her entire routine without a baton - somehow a toss just isn't the same without the baton spinning in the air! I know how easily a baton can roll off stage or into a band pit when giving a stage performance - leaving you without a baton for the rest of the performance. Thank you for designing a baton that will reduce the chances of that happening! My daughter can't wait to receive her two new HEART BATONS in the mail and show everyone at her next talent show what she can do when she actually has batons!! Sincerely, Malisa Rader Jewell, Iowa |
